Heather Simon grew up in Santa Monica and currently resides in Brooklyn. She teaches writing and literature at Queens College and Kingsborough Community College. Her writing, visual art, anti-detention work, and yardwork often converge and can be found in Anomaly, The Rumpus, t'Art Magazine, Newtown Literary, and others.
